Ulrich Herr
Born in Gotha in 1969, after graduating from high school he did his national service in the East German army (NVA), studied physics and social studies and became a teacher. Author of numerous articles on military and uniform studies in various journals and publications. Member of the editorial team of the ‘Zeitschrift für Heereskunde’ since 2011. Co-author of the illustrated volumes ‘The German Cavalry from 1871 to 1914’, ‘The German Infantry from 1871 to 1914’, ‘The German Generals from 1871 to 1914’, ‘The German Artillery from 1871 to 1914’, ‘The German Pioneers, Technical Troops and Train from 1871 to 1914’ and ‘Adjutants and Household Troops’ in this series published by Verlag Militaria.
